We had an incredible day aboard the Salty Daze Salt Deck boat with female Captain Sherita out of Coral Bay! From the moment we stepped on the boat, she made everyone feel welcome and relaxed. She struck the perfect balance of professionalism, local knowledge, and a fun, easygoing personality that made the entire day enjoyable.
Captain Rita took us to beautiful snorkeling spots where we saw amazing marine life, shared interesting facts about the area, and made sure everyone, from experienced snorkelers to first-timers, felt comfortable in the water. She also timed our stop at Lime Out perfectly, so the day flowed seamlessly from one adventure to the next.
The Salt Deck was fantastic, with plenty of room to relax, comfortable seating, shade when you wanted it, and a slide that was a huge hit with both the kids and adults. It was the perfect way to experience the eastern side of St. John.

Got away from Cruz bay for the day and took an amazing taxi ride throught the hills to coral bay. Jay met us right on time (had to pull my wife out of the Skinny Legs merch shop) and taxied us ove to Limeout Taco Bar.

Our family of 6 had the BEST time! Our captain knew exactly where to take us to snorkel some of the most beautiful coves. We visited LimeOut for lunch, and enjoyed the day out on the water exploring and spending time together. The kids loved the water slide! Definitely the highlight of our trip to St. John.

Absolutely perfect. The weather was great, the drinks were delicious, and there was everything we needed on board, from reef-safe sunscreen to snorkel floats. The kids LOVED the slide, the Lime Out experience was great (and perfectly timed), and the captain, Tim, put everyone at ease and was knowledgeable and kind. I can't think of a single thing that could be improved (except my 3 year old's willingness to decide whether he wants to be in the boat or in the water). We loved it!

We booked the half day on the Salt Deck, Jeremy was out captain and picked us up and took us to some amazing snorkeling spots we never even knew existed. We are located in Coral Bay, St. John, US Virgin Islands.
You must have a rental car or reserve a taxi ahead of time to get to us. We do not pick up outside of Coral Bay.
Traveling from STT? Please research travel logistics before booking. Have questions? We are here to help.
CRUISES – Coral Bay is a bit of a hike from the cruise ship ports in STT. It is doable, but please understand that traveling to us and going to Lime Out will be your entire day on land!
We take our guests to our favorite snorkeling spots that are off the beaten path, and only accessible by boat.
Get lost in the coral – swim with an abundance of fish, sea turtles, sting rays, spotted eagle rays, sharks, and if you’re one of the very lucky ones – dolphins!
Sharks?The joke is, the water is salty here! So, YES. The most common breeds of sharks in our waters, Nurse & Reef, are docile – when you see them, they’re probably sleeping! Consider it lucky to get to see a shark in the wild, as it is a beautiful and uncommon occurrence.

Salt Deck travels and stays within the East End area of St. John – Want to travel further or go to Pizza Pi? Consider one of our power boat trips!
The East End is known for its calm, glassy, protected bays – perfect for safe sliding and novice snorkelers!

We offer a hassle-free convenient pickup and drop-off location right in the heart of Coral Bay.
Coral Bay Boat Ramp/Dinghy Dock – close to Skinny Legs Bar & Grill and Dazey’s Bayhouse (our coffee shop and bakery) Take Centerline Rd to Coral Bay. At the Coral Bay Welcome Sign – Continue East (left). Stop by Dazey’s Bayhouse for bathrooms and treats. After the Fire Station turn Right – Continue towards the water. Park anywhere in the general area. DO NOT BLOCK THE BOAT RAMP.
SALT+LIME shuttles pick up at the dirt boat ramp to the left of the concrete dinghy dock, near the green shipping container. Salt Decks, Salt Shaker and Knot E Buoys pick up at the concrete dinghy dock.
